Visigo: A Journey Companion Beyond a Coach

The Visigo is a 9.5-meter medium coach that stands out with its stylish interior and exterior design, and comfort equipment. With a capacity of up to 39 comfortable seats and high-level comfort equipment, Visigo turns long-haul rides into pleasant journeys for passengers, similar to a full-size coach. The large luggage compartment caters to passengers' needs, especially in airport and intercity transportations.

The design inspiration for Visigo was to create a journey companion rather than just a coach. The exterior design is strong, characteristic, and aerodynamically sculpted with continuous, strict, and dynamic lines. The interior design, on the other hand, adheres to a home-feel concept, providing a maximum feeling of spaciousness.

Visigo is produced using mainly conventional methods and is engineered to be lighter than its competitors. The vehicle’s chassis and main structural elements are made out of steel and aluminium. The structure supports an outer shell which is sheet metal, fiber reinforced polymer, and tempered glass according to its placement and form. The inner surfaces have varying materials and production methods, which include ABS, PU, PVC, and various composites.

The design process of Visigo was challenged with designing a 9.5 m medium-haul vehicle with the comfort and aesthetic requirements of a long-haul vehicle. However, with thorough benchmark and field researches, along with gathering and observing user feedbacks and user needs, the design team was able to overcome this challenge.

Visigo has been recognized for its exceptional design and innovation, winning the Platinum A' Vehicle, Mobility and Transportation Design Award in 2018. This award recognizes world-class, exceptional, and highly innovative designs that showcase unmatched professionalism, contribute to societal wellbeing, and advance the boundaries of art, science, design, and technology.
